
With the help of Sheet Rock Hills mechanic Gary (voiced by "Sustainable Dave" Chameides), Manny and the tools replace Manny's truck engine with a new environmentally-friendly electric motor.
1. Turn off the lights every time you leave a room.
2. Never take another plastic bag and as a result stop adding to the 1,000,000 a minute that enter our landfills.
3. Get yourself a reusable water bottle and say no to plastic water bottles forever.
4. Start a recycling program in your school and at your parents workplace – if they don’t already have one.
5. Start a worm composter and turn all your leftovers into fertilizer you can use in your yard!
6. Get rid of all your junk mail (your parents will love you for this) and save resources, money, and time.
7. Find a farmers market near you and ask your parents to take you – they’ll be hooked!
8. Keep a record of everything you throw out for one entire week and then see if you can cut it in half the following week.
9. Cut out meat one day a week. Once you do that, cut out a second day.
10. Draw a 1/2 mile radius around your house on a map and ask your parents to only drive to stores in that radius when they are on their way to or coming back from somewhere farther away. Otherwise, walk.
11. Question everything and ask adults to explain where things are made, and where they will end up. If they can’t, ask them why not and then help them find out.
